White sangria

Hurricane Irene made her way through the DC area this weekend. As we prepared what we needed to make it through the potential damaging effects, I made a pitcher of sangria. Because we didn't have any cheap suitable bottles of red, I ended up with a white sangria. I let it sit for 24 hours and oh. my. goodness. so delicious.

1 can frozen pineapple juice concentrate
3 c orange juice
1/4 c sugar
1 bottle chardonnay
1/4 c cointreau
1 peach, sliced
1/2 - 1 c frozen strawberries
1 orange, sliced
1/2 lemon, sliced

Mix pineapple juice concentrate with orange juice in pitcher. Add sugar and mix until dissolved. Add chardonnay and cointreau and mix well. Throw in fruits and chill for a few hours before serving.
